Diclofenac sodium topical gel 1%
(Brand Names: Pennsaid, Solaraze, Voltaren Topical)
A DSAP patient emailed me to tell me a story about how their dermatologist looked at their DSAP and declared "I have a cure for that" and recommended Solaraze. I am skeptical. That is why I'm collecting feedback from all of you. I personally tried it for 11 months. It did nothing.
If you do decide to give Diclofenac sodium topical gel a try then I recommend ordering from somewhere out of the USA. Don't pay $900 a tube! I found one Mexican online pharmacy that only charges only $25.75 and probably doesn't even require a prescription. Speak to your doctor about using Voltaren.
Here's what I've got so far:
"I put it on once or twice a day for a week and saw no progress.
"A family member used it and had such a bad reaction that they had to stop ....their arms were covered in sores for a month while they healed."
"A dermatologist just prescribed Solaraze and tells me many of her patients using it have seen great results."
"I stopped taking it before I ran out of product because I starting getting an allergic rash. It seemed like it was working, but not to the extent it would remove them completely. I do remember the crusty white edges did go away and haven’t returned."
"I tried solaraze with no positive results."
